Prof. Dan Stein, Head of the Department of Psychiatry & Mental Health at the University of Cape Town and UCT-Affiliated Hospitals, and Director of the South African MRC Research Unit on Risk & Resilience in Mental Disorders, is the Co-Principal Investigator for the UCT site.

Elsie is a postdoctoral researcher in psychology. She is the project co-ordinator for the UCT site.

Deborah is a research psychologist and will be acting as the project manager for the UCT site. She is responsible for the scientific development and execution of the project.

Dr. Adele Pretorius is a Senior Programme Manager in the Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health. She is a Clinical Psychologist and holds a PhD in Bio-systems Engineering. She has been managing large multi-site research studies in the Department since 2014. Previously, she has managed multi-national projects related to human performance and safety in the private sector in South Africa.

Weslin is a research assistant and will be acting as the trainer for the MEGA project on the UCT site. She will assist with research support and administrative activities.
